
Don and Louise Coulson are the artisans for Kingfisher Designs. As constant transients who live on-the-road, they find materials and inspiration "on the road".
Traveling gives them an opportunity to find a wide variety of supplies and ideas for their jewelry.
Their bloom-where-you're-planted philosophy shows through in the jewelry supplies they choose and the jewelry they design. On this site, they will offer their own inventory of supplies to other jewelry designers.
From her first book (written at the age of 10), Our Rocks and Minerals, to writings on diamonds and Baroque Jewelry, Louise has had a passion for jewelry. Twenty years of working with fibers has given Louise a different perspective of the wire and an array of skills to draw on.
Don has had a fascination for jewelry design for 20 years and has finally gotten the time and equipment to pursue this interest. His craftsmanship and attention to detail makes every piece a work of art.
Don and Louise have recently been accepted into the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi, published an eBook, ShowCase, and had work published in Step by Step Wire Jewelry. They also plan a series of free tutorials featuring their spectrum titanium and hope to bring niobium and titanium on to the scene as jewelry for adults.
