Workbench Log - January 2010

1/1/10

We are in Texas watching football and the Rose Bowl Parade.  I am so burned out that I have not touched a piece of metal since we left home December 23.  Maybe with some travel and rest my head will clear enough to get  back to work when we get home.

1/5/10

Well - we watched 10 bowl games and saw the Cowboys beat the Eagles.  Enjoyed our trip and ready to get back to work.

1/8/10

My mom fell today and has hurt her back.  She may need us there, so we are both going to work as hard as possible to get ready to go.

1/9/10

Doing the regular site rebuild I always seem to do in January.  This time I am going for a little bit of a new look, but I think it is time.  I am also adding the copper to the site for the first time.

Don is working on show applications and we have 8 applications out already.

The site is in pretty good shape.  The blog is nearly up-to-date and the woven pieces are in fair order.  Next I will work on the knot site.

He has been taking photos today and they are just fantastic.

This is one of the reversible pendants.  Don has devised a wonderful way to show both sides of it.  I am not sure how to crop it for jurying, but I kind of like it this way since it shows the mirror.

1/19/10

The site is done!  At least as "done" as any website ever is. There is always something more to do.  Don has taken dozens of photographs, and the photos really make the site.  Such wonderful photos - I could never do that.

Have tried hard to keep the color as correct as possible, and it seems it really is pretty close (of course that is on my own monitor).
